The Deadwood camping area is located on the north section of camp and was developed in 1967 after the installation of a water tank that was fed from nearby Deadwood springs. Deadwood is composed of three campsites, Yellowjacket Point, Bear Flat Lower and Bear Flat Upper. Each area is composed of a fire-ring, areas to pitch a tent or sleep under the stars along with a kybo and washstand. A large campfire area is located at the Yellowjacket Point campsite.
